About Us
Welcome to K-And-K Chihuahuas! My name is Kaila and I have been raising chihuahuas since 2010! I have had animals, especially chihuahuas, all of my life and really couldn't imagine it without them. I don't remember a time where I didn't have at least a half dozen chihuahuas! I strive to only breed the pest show and pet quality AKC chihuahuas and do all required health testing by AKC to ensure our moms and dads are in good shape to reproduce. We do frequent vet visits, annual dental cleanings, and anything else necessary! All of our babies live indoors and are treated as our own pets. They sleep in bed with us, go bye bye with us, and even eat dinner with us. We cook them home made dinners with raw food, vitamins, and other necessary nutrients! We love them like they're our children!
We live in a beautiful home in southern Michigan on 9 acres that we explore frequently! Our chihuahuas love to roam and keep busy! During the summer, we do take our pups outside for some grass time to get use to all of the textures and smells. We do NOT recommend taking your puppy out in public until they've completed all of their age appropriate vaccines. However, your backyard or the vet office is safe! Our chihuahuas are all crate trained, puppy pad trained, and outdoor potty trained as well! As any chihuahua, ours do not like to go outside very much in the winter time. So we have several puppy pads available for them! We use washable puppy pads and highly recommend them! We save tons on puppy pads.
Our Vet...
We have an amazing team of vets that take care of our babies! I've been using my vet long before I ever raised chihuahuas and pretty much grew up with them! I remember going with my mom when I was just a kid. Our Veterinarian has been so hands on and has loaded me with all of her knowledge over the past 15+ years so I know how to properly care for everyone in case of emergencies or after hours. We are always prepared for almost anything at home that doesn't require surgery! You can always feel safe knowing your pup is in our care!
